Hearty Sausage, Peppers & Potatoes

Here's a favorite from Italian fairs and festivals that's so easy to make at home.  Simply combine the ingredients in a baking dish and throw it in the oven.  In less than an hour, you have a scrumptious dish to be enjoyed by all.

Ingredients

2  pounds sweet or hot Italian pork sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
6  red new white potato, cut into quarters
2  medium green pepper, cut into 2-inch-long strips (about 3 cups)
1 package  (8 ounces) mushrooms
0.5  of a large sweet onion, sliced (about 1/2 cup)
2 cups Prego® Traditional Italian Sauceor Tomato, Basil & Garlic Italian Sauce

Instructions

Stir the sausage, potatoes, peppers, mushrooms and onion in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Add the sauce and stir to coat.
Bake at 400°F. for 30 minutes or until the sausage is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
